President Buhari to address the nation at 7pm

– President Muhammadu Buhari will address the country on Monday evening, April 13, by 7pm

– Television and radio stations are enjoined to hook up with the mother network services for the broadcast

– The reason for the broadcast was not stated but there is an indication that the president will address the lockdown and issues bordering on Covid-19

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Monday evening, April 13, address the country in a live national broadcast that will be aired on the NTA and other media outlets by 7 pm. 

A brief statement from the media office of the president announced this on Twitter on Monday afternoon. G

Shehu, President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide on media and publicity, enjoined television and radio stations to hook up with the mother network services.

“President Muhammadu Buhari will broadcast to the nation Monday, April 13, 2020 at 7pm,” Shehu tweeted.

“Television, radio and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) respectively for the broadcast.”
